Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist (Multi-Modality) Location: Hilo, HI Shift: Variable

Description: Join our team as an Ultrasound Technologist in Hilo, HI, where you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients. As a Multi-Modality Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, GYN, OB, neonatal, superficial structures, and vascular imaging. This position requires a commitment to excellence in patient care and a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Job Duties:

• Perform ultrasound procedures including abdominal, GYN, OB, neonatal, superficial structures, and vascular imaging.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative scans.
• Utilize equipment such as the Canon i700 ultrasound machine.
• Document imaging findings accurately in the Meditech EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS systems.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an acute hospital setting.
• ARDMS certification in at least 2 specialties: Abdomen, OB/GYN, or Vascular.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Shift and Schedule:

• 40-hour shift work with on-call duties as appropriate.
• Floating to other units/departments including Ultrasound Cardiac, OB/GYN, small parts, and Vascular.

Dress Code:

• Personal scrubs or healthcare professional attire.
